Lead Accounting Professional Job Opportunity

An esteemed and renowned corporation is seeking a seasoned Lead Accounting Professional to oversee their European operations.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accountant to manage the financial aspects of our European operations, primarily responsible for budgeting and reporting. This role requires close collaboration with departmental managers to collect information and develop financial tools, as well as supporting the Senior Management Team in generating financial reports to inform high-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flow and create comprehensive budget plans
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly consolidated financial reports and reconciliations
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in financial reporting requirements for senior leadership
  • Oversee the budgeting/forecasting process and report on key performance indicators
  • Work closely with managers to provide variance reporting and monthly accruals
  • Coordinate audit and tax functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with banking relationships and monthly bank reporting
  • Ensure timely filing and remittances for various VAT jurisdictions
  • Support invoicing and payments processes

International travel may be required approximately once a quarter. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
