We are currently working on an exciting project with a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, investing in their Analytical department with a new avenue in peptide research. We are seeking a highly skilled Peptide R&D Scientist to support the purification development for some of the company's chiral protein R&D projects.

This is an amazing opportunity to develop your career and be part of a multi-disciplinary team working closely with R&D and Process Development scientists. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in peptide/protein purification techniques using Prep HPLC and Prep SFC.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, including an annual bonus. To be successful, you will require a higher education qualification in analytical chemistry, chemistry or biochemistry and experience in protein purification (Prep HPLC or SFC).

Main responsibilities include:

  • Development and optimisation of peptide/protein purification techniques using Prep HPLC and Prep SFC.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to help define project milestones and deliverables.
  • Compiling clear and concise reports summarising your work.
