Job Title: Middle Office Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Office Officer to join our team at Crédit Agricole CIB. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all Middle-Office tasks, including daily validation of micro-hedging operations, production of liquidity and interest rate gaps, and controls on MtMs sent by CA-CIB on ALM hedging transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze MtMs, including eligibility of micro-hedging strategies to the Short Cut Method;
  • Produce and analyze interest rate gaps;
  • Manage liquidity reporting, including liquidity gap and liquidity stress tests;
  • Follow up on transactional regulatory reporting, such as EMIR, MIFID, and MMSR;
  • Manage Banque de France reporting FIE (Fiches individuelles d'emprunts);
  • Engage in projects to maintain and enhance processes;
  • Perform other tasks as required.

  • Credit Agricole SA Paris (including DPF/ALM);
  • Crédit Agricole CIB Paris and London (including Treasury, MAM).

  • External Auditors;
  • Banque de France;
  • Correspondent banks/Custodians/Paying agents.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience within an investment banking environment;
  • Prior experience within a middle or back office function handling DCM, derivatives, or FX products;
  • Ability to work with and assist any other departments;
  • Ability to react quickly in case of a system problem and find solutions;
  • Ability to cope with Compliance/Financial Security matters;
  • IT literacy (e.g., Visual Basic, SQL, and Python);
  • ALM and Treasury operations experience;
  • Good Capital Market knowledge (money market, foreign exchange, securities, repos, derivatives);
  • Good knowledge of relevant rules and regulations;
  • Fluency in English (required), French (desirable).
