Mason Blake is a reputable investment house seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Middle Office.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee our Middle Office team, ensuring effective implementation of dealing and trade execution across Operations and Oversight business functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operations within Asset Management and be well-versed in regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Middle Office team to achieve key deliverables and drive operational excellence.
  • Investment Portfolio Oversight: Oversee all investment portfolios to ensure alignment with regulatory and risk requirements, including performing relevant reviews and due diligence.
  • Due Diligence: Complete thorough due diligence across oversight, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Monitoring and Control: Monitor the timely completion of controls, actions, and issues across the oversight functions and third-party providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience in Operations within Asset Management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Leadership: Experienced at working with Board and Executive level stakeholders, with a strong ability to generate recommendations that improve business processes.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of the UK regulatory environment and ability to apply it effectively.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team and driving team performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
