As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for developing and leading an electrical estimating team, managing and tracking multiple electrical tenders simultaneously, and leading communication with clients and customers to ensure all requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead an electrical estimating team
  • Manage and track multiple electrical tenders simultaneously
  • Lead communication with clients and customers
  • Review issued specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents
  • Onsite liaison with client/customer undertaking site survey and review
  • Analysis and evaluation of potential project risk
  • Preparation of accurate pricing estimates
  • Collation of multi-discipline data
  • Identify and present value engineering opportunities
  • Attend project site tender meetings and site reviews

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Experience in presenting tenders to clients
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction sectors
  • Ability to read tender specifications and drawings
  • Ability to self-manage time and workloads
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner
