About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our team at Beechstead Ltd. As a Lenders' Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients in the Project Finance Services market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely work outputs, ensuring the highest level of quality and commercial delivery.
  • Take ownership of the quality and commercial aspects of your work, driving continuous improvement and best practice.
  • Contribute to the development of 'best practice' ways of working, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.
  • Participate in the pre-Financing Due Diligence process, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop a broad understanding of technical and legislative requirements connected with prospective financing transactions.
  • Participate in Beechstead's internal planning process, ensuring the successful delivery of each new commission.
  • Prepare Information Required Lists, facilitating the Due Diligence review process.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in face-to-face meetings with clients and their teams.
  • Interface with and brief other Funder side consultants, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Analyse and report on project data, providing technical, numerical, risk, and best practice project management insights.
  • Prepare and draft comprehensive Due Diligence reports, highlighting project-specific recommendations.
  • Produce project-specific technical, numerical, risk, and best practice project management recommendations.
  • Conduct risk-based gap analyses, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Undertake post-Financing Project monitoring, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Test and administer the Lenders' Technical Advisor's obligations under the Financing Agreement.
  • Prepare regular Lenders' Technical Advisor Monitoring Reports, tracking project progress.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree-level qualification or equivalent in engineering, architecture, or quantity surveying, or a similar field. You will have experience in a Lenders' Technical Advisor or Technical Consulting role, with knowledge of Project Finance, Due Diligence, and Project monitoring. You will be comfortable working face-to-face with clients and willing to undertake short-term travel to international projects. You will also have experience in financial planning and budgeting.

We are looking for a professional who is Chartered or nearing Chartered status, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be keen to work for a family-run business that is committed to developing its staff as part of its expansion.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £60,000, car allowance, discretionary bonus, and the opportunity to work on high-end, large projects all over the world.
