About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lenders' Technical Advisor to join our team at Beechstead Ltd. As a key member of our Project Finance Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical outputs in an accurate and timely manner
  • Take ownership of the quality and commercial delivery aspects of your work
  • Contribute to the development of best practice ways of working and share knowledge
  • Participate in pre-financing due diligence processes
  • Provide technical and legislative expertise on prospective financing transactions
  • Participate in internal planning processes for project delivery
  • Prepare information required lists for due diligence reviews
  • Conduct site visits and participate in face-to-face meetings with clients
  • Interface with and brief other consultants on respective projects
  • Analyse and report on project data from a technical, numerical, risk, and best practice project management perspective
  • Prepare and draft comprehensive due diligence reports
  • Produce project-specific technical, numerical, risk, and best practice project management recommendations
  • Conduct risk-based gap analyses and undertake post-financing project monitoring
  • Test and administer lenders' technical advisor obligations under financing agreements
  • Prepare regular lenders' technical advisor monitoring reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent in engineering, architecture, or quantity surveying, or a similar field
  • Experience in a lenders' technical advisor or technical consulting role
  • Knowledge of project finance, due diligence, and project monitoring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work face-to-face with clients and undertake short-term travel to international projects
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting
  • Professional chartership or nearing chartership status
