AWS Cloud Data Platform Architect

Are you passionate about cloud and data? We're seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Data Platform Architect to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled professional to design and implement comprehensive data platforms that meet functional and non-functional requirements. As an AWS Cloud Data Platform Architect, you'll be responsible for assembling large, complex data sets, identifying and designing internal process improvements, and building infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data platforms using AWS services such as EMR, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, and Lake Formation.
  • Experience with data security areas in AWS, including IAM, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, and Inspector.
  • Hands-on experience in architecture of data workloads in EMR Clusters.
  • Design system architecture to integrate easily with other AWS services.
  • Manage the full life cycle of a data platform solution in AWS.
Requirements
  • Experience with AWS Data Platform, including AWS-EMR Cluster Platform, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, Lake Formation, and Glue Catalogue.
  • Data Storage Fundamentals.
  • AWS Service Selection, Container design.
  • Insurance domain knowledge (Pensions & Annuity).
  • AWS Solution Architect certifications.
