About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Data Platform Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud data platform team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data platforms that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their data needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives. Your expertise in AWS data platform technologies, including AWS-EMR Cluster Platform, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, Lake formation, and Glue catalogue, will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data platforms that meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
  • Build infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data
  • Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries
Requirements:
  • Experience with AWS data platform technologies
  • Strong understanding of data security areas in AWS
  • Hands-on experience in architecture of data workloads in EMR Clusters
  • Expertise in set-up and administration of AWS data platform
  • Working knowledge of tools like Hive and Pyspark
  • Insurance domain knowledge (Pensions & Annuity)
