About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Data Platform Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud data platform team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data platforms that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their data needs and develop solutions that leverage AWS data platform technologies. Your expertise in data security, DevOps pipelines, and data storage fundamentals will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL and AWS data platform technologies
  • Ensure data separation and security across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions
Requirements:
  • Experience with AWS data platform technologies, including AWS-EMR Cluster Platform, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, Lake formation, and Glue catalogue
  • Strong understanding of data security areas in AWS, including IAM, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, and Inspector
  • Hands-on experience in architecture of data workloads in EMR Clusters
  • Ability to design system architecture to integrate easily with other AWS services
  • Experience in managing the full life cycle of a data platform solution in AWS
  • Experience in leading AWS cloud design and development, testing, and deployment of proposed solutions
