About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Designer to join our team at Reuters Plus, the commercial creative studio at Thomson Reuters. As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for leading a global design team, ranging from backend to frontend immersive design capabilities and pre-sales mocks.

The successful applicant will take a key role in the development of Reuters Plus creative concepts, from page and video designs to social promotions and interactive digital experiences. You will communicate with multidisciplinary stakeholders, from Sales and Marketing to Social and Production, and work closely with the Reuters Plus Content Director to ensure creative innovation across the group and to attract new and existing business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a global design team to deliver high-quality design solutions
  • Developing creative concepts for Reuters Plus, including page and video designs, social promotions, and interactive digital experiences
  • Communicating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborating with the Reuters Plus Content Director to drive creative innovation and business growth
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Lead Designer with a strong background in design and a good understanding of the global business landscape. You should have:

  • Significant design experience at an agency or in-house studio
  • A good understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design
  • Demonstrable experience working with digital design tools, including Ceros, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • A proven ability to think creatively and develop solutions that align with commercial business objectives
