We are seeking a skilled Setting Out Expert to join our team in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead site teams in setting out and surveying works.
About the Role- Lead site teams in setting out and surveying works, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment.
- Develop and maintain site reports and records, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee and coordinate drainage systems, kerb installation, and service duct positioning.
- Manage site clearance and earthworks, ensuring timely project progression and adherence to specifications.
- Liaise with site management teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain safety protocols and procedures on-site.
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, specifically in drainage, kerbs, service ducts, site clearance, and earthworks.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using setting out equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS systems).
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative work.
- Full UK driving license (travel to site may be required).
