About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Vaccination Clinician.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality vaccination services to school-aged children in community clinic settings.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to support the smooth continuity of service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and the performance and development of staff.
  • Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported, monitored, and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Attend clinical supervision with the Clinical Lead as directed.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and participate in audits, making recommendations based on findings.

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Customer service and people management skills.
  • Assertive, team player, and critical thinker.
  • Current immunisation training or willingness to undertake.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of immunisation schedules.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Paramedics and Physiotherapists registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
  • Optometrists registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
