We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Specialist to join our team in Ashford, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in rail or build projects to work closely with construction teams to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Tender Preparation: Prepare tenders, analyze options, select appropriate sub-contractors, negotiate and finalize sub-contract orders.
- Commercial Management: Financially manage sub-contracts from start to finish, ensuring all commercial aspects are well-managed.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, variation reporting, and valuations to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Quantity Surveyor on rail or build projects, excellent report-writing skills, and the ability to work closely with site teams to resolve commercial challenges.
This role offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and the opportunity to work with a specialist contractor on multiple Network Rail station upgrade schemes.
