Job Title: Commercial Sales Graduate Trainee

Join Cefetra as a Commercial Sales Graduate Trainee and take the first step in your career in global agriculture commodities trading. As a key member of our Import Trading Desk, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial functionality of the team and developing strong relationships with external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Import Trading Desk in improving commercial functionality
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external customers
  • Monitor trading spreads and strategies, tracking past performance and recording profit and loss
  • Prepare tailor-made pricing communication for customers
  • Act as a point of contact for calls and correspondence from external customers and suppliers
  • Work closely with traders to develop commercial understanding of markets and trading strategies
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Maths, Economics, Agriculture, or Business
  • Genuine interest in markets and trading
  • Driven attitude to sales
  • Logical thinker with strong numeracy skills and results-oriented focus
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Assertive with strong self-motivation and ability to set challenging goals
  • Attention to detail with ability to make fast and accurate decisions under pressure
Working Conditions:

The job will be based in Newry, Northern Ireland, and will involve working closely with the Import Trading Desk team to develop commercial understanding of markets and trading strategies.
