About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce and Trading Manager to join our team at KILLSTAR. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for driving the online retail strategy and ensuring the brand's e-commerce channels are aligned with our overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management: Be an expert in our products and direct how they are presented across our marketing and sales channels to meet KPIs.
  • Merchandising Strategy: Attend merchandising promo planning meetings to create an e-com roadmap and manage and merchandise product, including category builds, product detail maintenance, and promotional activities.
  • Data Analysis: Review data analytics to optimize online aspects of the brand, determine merchandising strategy, and track customer flow through the site.
  • Competitor Analysis: Appraise competitor websites to ensure the brand/sub-brand is aligned with industry trends.
  • Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Plan and execute cross-selling and up-selling strategies for website items to generate additional sales.
  • Category Strategy: Develop and recommend changes to online category strategy based on customer and competitor insights, brand strategies, and analysis of KPIs.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Merchandising function to align and plan as per product buy in plans for onsite Merchandising, align with Marketing and content teams to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
  • Risk Mitigation: Attend and contribute within the business weekly trade meetings to mitigate risks and propose actions to increase sales.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and repair QC issues on site and keep the team updated on any site enhancement/repair issues that arise.
  • Social Media: Manage and maintain social shop catalogue and merchandise collections for Instagram/Social Platforms.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Contribute towards marketing initiatives as well as the marketing calendar.
  • Lessons Learnt: Contribute to the merchandising lessons learnt analysis.
  • SEO and PPC: Create an actionable plan from keywords searched to support SEO/PPC and Merchandising range plan building.
  • Website Optimization: Identify and inform the relevant people on fixes required to improve the user functionality of the website.
  • Imagery and Video: Optimise the use of e-com imagery and video on PDPs.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Knowledge: online fashion retail and visual merchandising
  • Agility: an agile learner who can quickly adapt to changes and understand underlying structures and limitations
  • Creativity: a creative thinker who can come up with new and unique ideas and make connections among previously unrelated ideas
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience in previous e-commerce merchandising role/s
  • Analytics Tools: extensive experience working with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: be analytical and process-oriented to make data-driven decisions
  • Online Platforms: experience with major online platforms and their ecosystems
  • SEO: SEO experience preferred

  • International Experience: managed or worked on e-commerce activities for a company with a multinational customer base
