Job Summary

At Jacobs, we're seeking a highly experienced Senior Programme Director to lead the delivery of our NNEP programme. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful operational delivery of all projects and programmes across the NNEP framework.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have demonstrably significant experience of major programme delivery across a number of programmes of values of £100s of millions of pounds. You'll be an exceptional leader with proven experience of leading change, and in building multi-disciplinary project and programme teams. Your strong understanding and experience of NEC and different contract forms, including working knowledge of public sector contracts, will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of all projects within the NNEP programme through exemplar project control ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget or better.
- Ensure successful leadership of multidisciplinary teams ensuring appropriate resources are available and fully trained to be able to carry out their tasks.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the programme managing them out and reporting on them when required.
- Own the overall quality and safety delivery of NNEP.
- Seeking out areas of improvement within delivery with the aim of achieving safer faster and more cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Track and reporting on programme delivery milestones and project status NNEP leadership and stakeholders.

What You'll Need

- Demonstrably significant experience of major programme delivery across a number of programmes of values of £100s of millions of pounds.
- Exceptional leadership and behavioural management qualities with proven experience of leading change, and in building multi-disciplinary project and programme teams.
- Experience of managing and leading large multi-disciplinary teams in complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong understanding and experience of NEC and different contract forms, including working knowledge of public sector contracts.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Project Management with an in-depth knowledge of agile and other methodologies.
- Proven experience of end-to-end programme delivery, with excellent knowledge and understanding of design and construction in a highly technical environment - preferably in contractor and/or programme delivery partner roles.
