Plant Operations Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to join our team at Omega Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC-controlled equipment, attending to breakdowns onsite, and delivering on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fault-finding and diagnosis of PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime.
- Responding to breakdowns onsite to ensure continuity of operations.
- Delivering on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- Working closely with the Site Engineering Manager to continually improve performance.
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline (electrical or mechanical).
- Ideal experience with automated materials handling and/or packaging machines.
- Production line experience, with opportunities for training and development.
