Job Description

Tax Compliance Specialist Role:

  • We're seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Specialist to join our US Tax Team in Boston.
  • You'll play a key role in managing tax compliance, including preparation of S&U tax and property tax compliance, filling, and managing payments.
  • Responsibilities will include maintaining Thomson Reuters S&U tax software, reconciling between S&U tax software and general ledger/ERP system (SAP and HFM), and managing tax exemption certificates.
  • You'll also assist in reviewing new and potential asset/project acquisitions for tax implications and perform tax research in support of indirect tax planning and compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong theoretical background paired with a commercial mindset and detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience with SAP, HFM, Thomson Reuters OneSource, Microsoft Office applications, and database programs is preferred.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
