We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health Forensic Social Work Team on a Part Time basis (22 hours). The salary for this role is up to £45,987 per annum.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing professional leadership in complex situations involving risk assessment and support planning. You will work closely with service users, families, and other professionals to develop support plans that meet identified outcomes within budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare written and verbal reports based on analysis of complex evidence.
  • Develop and implement support plans with service users.
  • Balance risk and protective factors within a safeguarding framework.
  • Apply specialist social work practice skills and knowledge of Adult Services user groups.
  • Mentor and supervise direct reports.
  • Lead the development of quality assurance systems.

Requirements

  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
