Job Title: Social Care Leader

A new permanent position is available for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Living in Care Home Review Team based in Cambridgeshire.

We are offering a salary of up to £47,277 per annum for this challenging role.

About the Role:

  1. To provide professional leadership and guidance in complex case arrangements for assessment and support planning, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users and others.
  2. To develop and implement effective support plans, utilizing evidence-based analysis to inform decision-making.
  3. To maintain accurate records and produce clear, concise reports for various stakeholders, including courts and legal purposes.
  4. To manage and coordinate cases effectively, applying risk management principles to achieve positive outcomes.
  5. To provide regular line management and practice supervision to direct reports, promoting their development and training needs.
  6. To contribute to the development of quality assurance systems within the team, ensuring adherence to Performance Indicators and Quality Assurance standards.
  7. To maintain up-to-date knowledge of social policy, social work practice, and organizational procedures, providing expert guidance to the team.
  8. To promote and develop service user empowerment, recognizing diversity and anti-discriminatory practice in all professional interactions.
