Employment Advisor Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Employment Advisor to join our team at Standguide. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in securing sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attract, register, and guide participants towards successful placements.
  • Utilize diagnostic skills, individual and group coaching, and optimize available funding to empower individuals to secure employment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Job Centre Plus and other relevant partners to ensure participants are aware of our services.
  • Sign participants up to the programme, explaining our service offering and ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage participants' job goals, engaging and empowering them to achieve sustainable employment.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum.
  • Experience of working in a performance target-driven environment.
  • Strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy skills, and good written communication/record-keeping skills.
  • Full UK driving license as the role requires travel.
