We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Standguide. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in securing sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities- Attract and Register Participants: Utilize diagnostic skills to identify participant needs and register them for our employment program.
- Guide Participants towards Successful Placements: Provide individual and group coaching to empower participants to secure employment.
- Build Relationships with Partners: Establish and maintain relationships with Job Centre Plus and other relevant partners to ensure participants are aware of our services.
- Manage Participant Expectations: Identify, clarify, and manage participant expectations of the process, including data protection and confidentiality.
- Develop and Manage Job Goals: Assist participants in developing and managing their job goals using creative techniques and deep-level questioning.
- Deliver Group Training Sessions: Engage and empower participants through group training sessions to progress them towards sustainable employment.
- Level 2 English and Maths: Possess a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
- Experience in Performance-Driven Environment: Have experience working in a performance-target driven environment, such as recruitment, business development, or sales.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy skills, and good written communication/record-keeping skills.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate a willingness to learn, interest in people, and ability to travel locally.
- Full UK Driving License: Possess a full UK driving license, as the role requires travel.
- CPD Opportunities: Participate in a broad range of internal training to enhance knowledge and skills.
