Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Standguide. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in securing sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attract and Register Participants: Utilize diagnostic skills to identify participant needs and register them for our employment program.
  • Guide Participants towards Successful Placements: Provide individual and group coaching to empower participants to secure employment.
  • Build Relationships with Partners: Establish and maintain relationships with Job Centre Plus and other relevant partners to ensure participants are aware of our services.
  • Manage Participant Expectations: Identify, clarify, and manage participant expectations to achieve buy-in to the program.
  • Develop and Manage Job Goals: Assist participants in developing and managing job goals using creative techniques and deep-level questioning.
Requirements
  • Level 2 English and Maths: Possess a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
  • Performance Target Driven Experience: Have experience working in a performance target-driven environment, such as recruitment consulting or business development roles.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy skills, and good written communication/record-keeping skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate an interest in people and a willingness to learn, with a full UK driving license as the role requires travel.
