About the Position

TeacherActive, an employment business providing temporary job-seeking services, is seeking a dedicated and inspiring General Teaching Assistant to support students in an Outstanding Primary School based in the Caerphilly area.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children's education and development, with excellent communication skills and a calm, patient approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification or minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting
  • Calm, patient, and caring demeanor
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £76.00 per day, paid on a PAYE basis ensuring you pay the right level of Tax and national Insurance.
