As a Therapeutic Support Professional with SGS Care Ltd, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people aged 6-17 who have experienced trauma and neglect.

Job Summary:

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering one-to-one therapeutic care and is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment that allows children to thrive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a role model at all times, providing support and guidance to help children develop their learning and educational aspirations, while also promoting their overall wellbeing.

You will work closely with a dedicated team and supportive manager to ensure the children in your care receive the highest level of care and attention.

We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities, including Safeguarding, Clinical Understanding, Health & Wellbeing, and Behaviour Management, to enable you to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 6-17
  • Support children in developing their learning and educational aspirations
  • Act as a role model at all times
  • Work closely with a dedicated team and supportive manager
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience working in Children's Residential Childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
