SGS Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Assistant to join our team. As a Therapeutic Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 6-17 who have experienced trauma and neglect.

You will work closely with a fantastic team and supportive manager to ensure the children in your care have all their needs and requirements met. You will be responsible for creating a positive environment in the home, enabling the children to express their characters, feel safe and enrich their lives.

In addition to providing daily care and support, you will also be involved in social and educational activities that help the children develop their learning and educational aspirations. This may include family contact, appointments, education, and leisure activities, including holidays abroad and trips in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 6-17
  • Create a positive environment in the home
  • Support children with social and educational activities
Requirements:
  • Dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a difference
  • Enrolled on or completed Level 3 or equivalent in Residential Childcare
  • Experience within Children's Residential Childcare or a similar setting

We offer a competitive salary of £29,165.50 per annum, plus excellent benefits including comprehensive training, 33 days holiday, and a wellness programme.
