Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Fetal Monitoring Specialist at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our maternity team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of fetal monitoring and care.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Fetal Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert guidance and support to midwives and obstetricians on fetal monitoring and assessment
- Developing and implementing training programs for staff on fetal monitoring and CTG interpretation
- Leading weekly CTG workshops and maintaining attendance registers to ensure compliance
- Collaborating with the Delivery Suite Obstetric Consultant to develop and review audit forms for emergency births and instrumental deliveries
