Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced clinician to lead our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. As Clinical Chief Information Officer (CCIO), you will be responsible for ensuring that our new EPR is safe, supports high-quality care, and improves the clinician and patient experience.

About the Role

The CCIO will provide clinical leadership for the EPR programme, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer. You will lead and promote clinical engagement, support user-centred design, and ensure that the EPR programme reflects clinical priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the EPR programme is clinically owned and reflects clinical priorities
  • Lead and promote clinical engagement with and adoption of the EPR
  • Support user-centred design, delivery of training, and implementation to clinical teams
  • Drive continuous clinical process improvement in the use of digital technology
  • Develop information that supports and develops clinical practice

Requirements

  • Consultant medical professional with degree qualification
  • On the specialist medical register of the GMC
  • HS Digital Academy Graduate with postgraduate qualification in Digital Health Leadership or equivalent
  • Experience of leading and developing clinical teams
