Cera Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialists to empower individuals living with mental health challenges and/or substance misuse in Greater Manchester.

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living skills and supporting their journey towards greater independence within their communities.

Requirements

To excel as a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will need:

  • Resilience, effective communication skills, and the ability to utilize various communication tools.
  • Experience in administering medication, completing cleaning and household tasks, and providing support to clients throughout the day or night.
  • A commitment to ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with CQC and company guidelines. This includes observing, monitoring, and recording client information, as well as providing ongoing support.
  • While experience with mental health, autism, and substance misuse is preferred, it is not essential. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you develop the necessary skills and qualifications in Health and Social Care.
