Mental Health Welfare Rights Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic dynamic individual working in the area of Mental Health Welfare Rights.
The postholder will work as part of the Bluesci team alongside the centre managers coordinating the integration of welfare benefits advice to clients into the Bluesci service. Alongside Completing forms with clients the postholder will be expected to liaise with wider Trafford welfare rights providers aligning the Bluesci welfare rights service offer with the wider Trafford provision.
You should be able to demonstrate your experience of supporting people with mental health issues with welfare benefit advice including:
- Experience of carrying and managing a complex caseload which will involve a broad range of underlying issues and queries.
- Demonstrable experience of interpreting current welfare benefits and legislation as it pertains to an individual’s circumstances.
