Job Role Overview
The Liverpool City Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Notification SEND Officer to join our Early Years SEND Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring families receive information, services, and support at the earliest opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage information from health colleagues to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with families to plan next steps and co-produce solutions.
- Refer and signpost to relevant services, ensuring families receive the best possible support.
- Review outcomes to ensure families receive the support they need.
Team Collaboration
The successful candidate will work closely with Early Years SEND Coordinators to inform and drive our team's ethos and strategy. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with frequent requirements to attend settings, children's centers, and meetings across the city.
Requirements
We are seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and driven team player with significant experience and knowledge of special educational needs in the Early Years. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency setting.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £28,770 - £33,024 per annum, with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.
