About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Support Technician to join our Maintenance Engineering team at Frasers Group's Shirebrook Distribution Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance support for our distribution systems and equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide maintenance support for distribution systems, including conveyor belts, sorting machines, and automated storage systems, working closely with the maintenance technicians and able to work autonomously.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve simple issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on distribution equipment with appropriate support where required.
  • Ensure Compliance: Support in ensuring all equipment is maintained according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of distribution systems to identify potential issues and report any irregularities or potential problems to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance checks.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and record detailed records through CMMS of all support and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the distribution and logistics teams to support seamless operations and assist with the implementation of new systems and technologies within the distribution centre.
