Senior Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology

A prestigious opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology to join the esteemed team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a unique chance to contribute to the provision of high-quality care and excellent clinical outcomes across the spectrum of colorectal disease.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of clinical duties, including elective and emergency commitments. They will work closely with consultant colleagues to provide weekend care for colorectal inpatients and participate in the Surgical Emergency Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The fellow will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in endoscopy, including colonoscopy lists and independent lists for those with JAG accreditation.

Essential
- MB BS & MRCS or equivalent Higher Medical Degree
- General Surgical training at ST4 SpR Level or above
- Higher Medical
Essential
- Hospital appointment at SpR level or Equivalent
- Evidence of training in General and Colorectal Surgery presentations
- Publications/Responsibility equivalent to ST4 SPR
Essential
- Evidence of team leadership skills to be able to undertake effectively, the role of a Fellow within a Teaching Hospital
- Organisational skills to be able to undertake effectively, the role of a fellow NHS within a Teaching Hospital
- Computing skills: ability to use a word processor, spreadsheet programme and web browser
- Good personal and interpersonal skills
- Experience of teaching medical Undergraduates and postgraduates
- Experience of routine clinical audit and or willingness to conduct or supervise audit
- Knowledge of the organisation
- Flexible approach to solving problems

- Full GMC Registration
