About the JobThis is a 1-year fixed term post in the Department of Haematology. As a highly motivated clinician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of patients, focusing on those participating in clinical trials and under routine care. You will have the opportunity to develop research projects in clinical trials and translational science, with training on designing, setting up, and executing clinical research.
Our TeamOxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country, providing a wide range of general and specialist clinical services. We are a base for medical education, training, and research, working closely with the University Departments, including Oncology.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration on the GMC Register
- Membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent (e.g. FRCPath)
- Postgraduate qualification to MSc by research with publications
- General training in Haematology/Oncology with three years full-time hospital service
- Direct experience of managing haematology/oncology patients
- Post-foundation training in hospital appointments in haematology and oncology
We offer competitive salary and benefits package, estimated at around £38,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
