Job Summary

The Diversity and Inclusion Admin Apprentice will play a key role in supporting the implementation of DPD's Diversity & Inclusion strategy. This position will involve working closely with the Diversity & Inclusion specialist to deliver projects and activities, raising awareness and promoting a culture of inclusion across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the organization of monthly Diversity & Inclusion forums, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the Diversity & Inclusion calendar, promoting awareness and celebration days, and collaborating with other teams and departments.
  • Remain up-to-date on various Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and movements, influencing best practice at DPD UK.
  • Provide administrative support to the Diversity & Inclusion specialist, including managing the People Inclusion inbox and responding to queries.
  • Support the wider People & Talent function, applying a Diversity & Inclusion lens to all projects and tasks.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (GMail/GSheet)
  • Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work.
  • Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work, and Accountability.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to go the 'extra mile' to exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work as a team player and on your own initiative.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Business Admin Level 3 qualification
  • GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English or willingness to complete during the apprenticeship.
