Job Description

This role involves driving strategic procurement initiatives, evaluating suppliers, managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, and engaging in administrative activities. The successful candidate will support contract management processes and contribute to commodity sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of commodity sourcing strategies and ensure alignment with procurement policy and procedures.
  • Establish local service level agreements with end users in conjunction with the procurement manager.
  • Ensure adherence to purchasing policies and procedures to uphold standards.
  • Suggest and work with the procurement leadership team to establish process improvements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and inform relevant stakeholders.
  • Negotiate local or regional contracts in conjunction with procurement managers.
  • Advise end users on suitable items of acceptable quality at the most cost-effective prices.
  • Negotiate win-win commercial and non-commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure contracts are aware of relevant deliverables, timescales, costs, risks, and other commitments.
  • Collect, handle, analyse, and present various types of data.
