About the Role

Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching professional to work with students who have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). As a Home Tutor, you will create bespoke lessons to cater to individual needs, working on a part-time or full-time basis with the flexibility to manage your own diary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver tailored lessons for students with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Utilize a dynamic teaching style to engage and motivate reluctant learners.
  • Monitor progress, identify areas of improvement, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Person Specification

  • QTS or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to engage and motivate reluctant learners.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Driving license (Preferred).
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations.
