About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Manager to lead our team in delivering large-scale projects across Scotland. With a strong background in Design and Build, new build, and refurbishment projects, you will be responsible for managing client expectations, ensuring project timelines are met, and overseeing a team of skilled professionals.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners to drive project success. Your expertise in commercial management, risk assessment, and quality control will be essential in achieving project goals and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within budget and on time
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
  • Manage commercial risks and ensure accurate cost estimates and forecasts
  • Oversee quality control processes to meet industry standards
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in Design and Build, new build, or refurbishment projects
  • Strong commercial management and risk assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard
