Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Inverness
Salary:£60,000 - £80,000 per annum
The Orion Group is seeking a Senior QS to manage medium-sized construction projects in Inverness. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractors, services, and work allocation effectively.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure timely completion.
- Identify risks and cost variations, advising on mitigation strategies.
- Value work and arrange payments with clients.
- Liaise with site managers, project managers, engineers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Routine cost analyses for ongoing repair and maintenance work.
- Advise on outstanding contractual claims, ensuring fair resolution.
Requirements:
- UK driving license for efficient travel between sites.
- Quantity Surveying Degree from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications for seamless data management.
- Demonstrated accountability, discipline, consistency, and focus in previous roles.
