Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Nouvita Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients, working collaboratively with a multi-professional management team to ensure that our care meets the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive treatment service that delivers a high-quality response to patients with mental health problems.
  • Work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues and managers to develop and implement evidence-based practice.
  • Represent the business externally at local, regional, and national levels, raising the profile of the business and establishing working relationships with commissioners, community teams, and other key partners.
  • Participate in quality enhancement and service evaluation projects, and undertake research relevant to short or long-term service improvement.
  • Lead the CPD programme for the hospital and foster a culture of learning.

Nouvita Healthcare is a leading provider of specialist psychiatric services for adults. Our hospital has two female PICU wards and two acute wards, providing care and support for women at crisis level with severe mental disorders, as well as older adults who need a short-term hospital stay.
