We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Clinical Leader to join our team at Nouvita Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading our talented team and providing exceptional, compassionate care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care, with experience in leading teams and making independent clinical decisions. You will be a visible and influential figure within our hospital, working collaboratively with a multi-professional management team to ensure that our care meets the highest regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive treatment service that delivers high-quality care to patients with mental health problems.
- Provide advice on psychiatric care and take overall responsibility for a defined caseload of patients.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to foster positive working relationships and ensure effective communication.
- Oversee the performance of Consultant Psychiatrists and identify, investigate, and escalate concerns about conduct or performance.
- Represent the business externally at local, regional, and national levels, raising the profile of Nouvita Healthcare and establishing working relationships with commissioners, community teams, and other key partners.
- Approved Clinician status
- Section 12(2) approved
- A member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and in good CPD standing
- Current registration with GMC
- At least five years' experience in an in-patient setting
- Experience of working in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit
- Experience of working in Acute Services
- Ability to take independent clinical decisions and demonstrate clinical leadership
- Competitive rates outside IR35
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
