About the Role:


This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical leadership and supporting the ward manager in their absence. With a strong focus on patient-centered care, we are seeking an individual who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the ward manager in the provision of clinical leadership and deputize as needed
- Provide quality evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care for service users with mental and physical health needs
- Work closely with the Matron to set, maintain, and audit clinical standards in adherence to local and national priorities
- Identify and contribute to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Mental Health (RNMH) or other specialism relating to post such as Registered Nurse Learning Disability (RNLD) or Registered Nurse Children's (RNC)
- NMC registration
- Mentor qualification / ENB 998 or equivalent
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
