Education Support Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and confident Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Burton-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a flexible role, with day-to-day, part-time, and full-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Step in during the absence of the class teacher to manage and deliver pre-prepared lessons.
- Work with students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
- Ensure students remain focused and complete the tasks set for the lesson.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide support and guidance where needed to help students succeed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in secondary schools is essential.
- Ability to manage and supervise students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A flexible, proactive approach to working in different schools.
