We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team at The Dorchester Hotel, one of the UK's most renowned luxury hotels. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to excel in their field and contribute to the success of our hotel.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing billing control activities for The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, while providing support for Coworth Park to help achieve business targets. You will work closely with the Credit Manager and the Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely collection of debts from company debtors, reconcile accounts on the hotels' debtors ledger, and maintain a comprehensive history of all debtors to ensure audit assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Credit Manager and the Accounts Receivable team to oversee and manage billing control activities;
  • Reconcile accounts on the hotels' debtors ledger and maintain a comprehensive history of all debtors;
  • Handle daily guest inquiries according to departmental standards;
  • Facilitate timely collection of debts from company debtors;
  • Verify credit records for accuracy and follow up on overdue invoices;
  • Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies in credit card transactions between hotel systems (Opera and Micros Simphony).

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable;
  • Good knowledge of Opera and Micros Simphony systems;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
