About the Role
We're seeking a skilled professional to coordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations. This includes liaising with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / subcontractors, minimizing the cost impact to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate transport operations to meet customer and company expectations
- Liaise with line management to optimize the use of resources
- Ensure compliance with working time directive regulations and investigate accidents/incidents in a timely manner
Requirements
- Good understanding of fast-paced transport teams
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
