Senior Estates Manager

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Estates Manager to lead our Estates and Asset Management Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of the department, advancing an approach that maximises the opportunity for a wide portfolio and adds value across the Council and with key external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all the Council's estates and assets, currently 250 buildings and 3000 acres of land
* Deliver the Council's strategic asset management strategy
* Lead on office optimisation, the efficiency agenda and maximising opportunities for investment and regeneration
* Work across internal and external stakeholders to achieve high standards that promote service excellence
Requirements:
* Proven track record of managing Estates or Land and Property and Project Management
* Significant stakeholder management across the public sector
* Experience of managing significant budgets and meeting deadlines
