Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and specifications to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to assess product quality, identifying any defects, non-conformities, or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize quality incidents and improve overall product quality.
- Supervise and analyze quality metrics and trends, providing regular reports to management and recommending process improvements.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control, and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Management) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a people manager or similar role, preferably in a laboratory environment.
- Solid understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, GLP, FDA regulations).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present quality-related information.
- Thorough and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
