Dedicated SEN Learning Support Specialist

Long-term Teachers Ltd is a leading independent agency providing high-quality support to Nurseries, Primary, Secondary, and Special Education Schools.
We are seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans for students with special educational needs
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students, adapting strategies to meet their unique needs
- Assist with classroom setup, supervision of group activities, and maintenance of a healthy and safe learning environment
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
About the Role:
This is a full-time position, working across multiple sites and outreach centers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working with children with special educational needs
- Degree in Special Educational Needs or related field
- Strong knowledge of strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, and Asperger's
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
