Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Westlakes Recruit. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective approach to internal and supplier audits.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience in quality management and auditing, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver an effective approach to internal and supplier audits
  • Assist in the development and management of a risk-based internal audit programme
  • Liaise with the supply chain function to develop an approach to supplier/subcontractor auditing
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject matter or demonstrable experience in the fields of Quality Management and Auditing
  • Trained Internal or Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001)
  • Proven experience in Quality, Safety and/or Environmental Management System auditing
What We Offer

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Westlakes Recruit, you will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
